I was able to put the flats outside for a few days, but the weather has not been cooperating, so they were stretching to the light

It Has Been Two Weeks!

I know it has been a long time since I last updated the blog. I have been busy, so there are plenty of things to blog about, but the camera wasn't cooperating when I tried to get the pictures off.

I was on Spring Break last week and we are back in full force this week. I have a test I need to study for tomorrow, I may take a break from studying and get some pictures up.

Right now I am going to read a bit and then hit the sack, we put on new sheets tonight (which happens more infrequently than I would like to admit) so we will have that fresh sheet feeling.

Good Night Everyone!

Ladies Craft Night - March - Decoupage

The craft of the month is decoupage and Ladies Craft Night will be at Jami's on Monday the 17th.

Come at about 7 or 7:30 and bring supplies, something to work on and ideas. If you don't have anything to make, just come as you are and we will set you up! Here are a few links to give you an idea of what decoupage is.

Here are some pictures of two decoupage poster projects I made, a box that Jami made for us and some materials that you could use for decoupage.

Comforting, soothing, green, welcoming, nature collage in our guest room

Yummy, pretty food collage in our kitchen.
What is for supper? Just look at the collage and get inspired!

Box Jami made for us, the letters on the bottom of the sections spell Nate & Jana

The possibilities are endless, but here are a few materials that I scrounged up.

Some more materials, I have a whole bunch of clippings cut out to make a craft, inspirational collage. I also have some old world maps and some fun paper, whatever you are in the mood for!

Pictures

I was looking through old pictures and found these. I took them right after we got our new camera. Some of them are pretty cool, and the detail in the originals is awesome!
