Girls Night Out

I have been a bit swamped lately with going down to Gina's to help paint/move, finishing school, going down to Des Moines, working and having a study class in the evenings. I will start to catch up on posting on what we have been up to.

These pictures are from our girls night out in celebration of my graduation from Nursing school. Five of us ladies went up to the cities for supper, a show, a sleep over and shopping the next day! It was great fun, we ate at Buca di Peppo for supper, fabulous food!

The show for the evening, Phantom of the Opera, very wonderful performance, great singing, the music is still in my head, DDDAAAAA, dun dun dun dun duuunnnn, da dun... Anyways, I would definately recomend seeing it in person, it was worth it.

Gina and Richard's New House

Gina and Richard sold their house and are remodeling this one to move into in a couple of weeks. They have made more progress since these pictures were taken, the rooms are being painted, tile, wood floor, and carpeting is being installed, the roof has been replaced, new siding is on the outside, new windows went in and new light fixtures are being installed. The also are completely redoing the kitchen, they picked up their stove and refrigerator as well as a new dining table and chairs yesterday. I will be going down next week to help move and whatever else they need. Here are some pictures of the house from Mother's day weekend.

Finish Line

So, I am getting close and I can finally see the finish. I will be done with school, totally done on May 14th. However, the studying doesn't stop there, I still have to pass state boards before I am officially an RN.

I am almost done with my course work, just one care plan to finish up, it is almost done and then I have a paper to write that is due Thursday, hopefully it doesn't take too long. After that I have one test and two finals.

Now if I could just find a job, that would be nice.

New Look!

Isn't this fun, I found a new background that was cruise appropriate! Since I can't be in the Caribbean, this helps me remember it!
